By accessing or using SkillShaft (skillshaft.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description of service

SkillShaft provides an AI career readiness assessment, structured training programs, and a talent matching service connecting candidates with employers. Access to certain features may require registration or payment. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use SkillShaft. By using the platform, you represent that you are of legal age and have the authority to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

4. User accounts and data

You may sign in using your Google account or provide an email address to complete the assessment. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any access credentials. We store your assessment responses, scores, and contact information — see our Privacy Policy for details on how this data is handled.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Attempt to access systems or data you are not authorised to access
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract content from the platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service
• Reproduce or redistribute any content without prior written permission

6. Intellectual property

All content on SkillShaft — including but not limited to assessment questions, program materials, branding, and software — is owned by or licensed to SkillShaft. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use SkillShaft's intellectual property other than as expressly permitted for personal, non-commercial use.

7. Assessment scores and results

Assessment scores are generated based on your responses and are intended as an indicative measure of AI career readiness. They are not a guarantee of employment outcomes, program admission, or specific skill levels. SkillShaft makes no warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of assessment results.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SkillShaft and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Third-party services

SkillShaft integrates with third-party services including Google (for authentication) and WhatsApp (for communication). Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, third parties, or the platform.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in India.
